Fake News Media Omits Info In Trump Fact Check

Newsweek published a “fact check” of President Donald Trump’s tweet accusing Russia of sending millions of dollars to the Clinton Foundation, ultimately ruling “the president is stretching the truth” on the matter.

But the “fact check” leaves out a new report linking the Clinton Foundation to a Russian bribery scheme targeting the U.S. nuclear industry. The Hill news outlet recently reported the FBI had evidence of Russia steering millions of dollars to benefit the Clinton family charity while Hillary Clinton sat on a board vital to their nuclear interests.

Interestingly enough, Newsweek links to its own write-up of The Hill’s report, but the “fact check” makes no mention of any of the new information.

“Yes, the foundation received money and Bill Clinton was paid to give a speech, but there’s no evidence the Clintons were paid by Russians to push through the uranium deal,” Newsweek’s Greg Price wrote of Trump’s tweet.
