Weinstein Is Not Taking Rehab Seriously

Though the allegations against now-disgraced movie mogul Harvey Weinstein go way beyond mere sex addiction for which he is seeking rehab, according to reports, even on that score, Weinstein appears to be failing to take appropriate action.

Page Six reports that according to multiple people attending the rehab clinic where Weinstein checked himself in, the disgraced producer has not taken the time seriously, regularly spending the days “barking into his banned mobile phone and remaining in denial about his alleged sex attacks, insisting each and every one was consensual.”

Weinstein has now been accused of sexual harassment and assault by dozens of women in the entertainment industry and has been accused of rape by five. Entertainment Weekly reports that 46 women have accused Weinstein of some form of sexual misconduct so far.

“Weinstein was reported to be at an inpatient facility, but our source says he is actually being treated at an intensive outpatient facility, which allows him to spend nights at a hotel,” reports Page Six. “The clinic offers one-on-one counseling and group therapy sessions, among other treatments.”
