The Robert Muller Witch Hunt Has A Bill

The Department of Justice released a report Tuesday morning detailing the cost of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into the 2016 presidential election.

“A Statement of Expenditures has been released publicly summarizing the financial activity of the Special Counsel’s Office for the period May 17, 2017, through September 30, 2017, following a review by Justice Management Division’s Internal Review and Evaluation Office of the business processes related to budget and expenses of the Special Counsel’s Office,” Special Counsel Spokesman Joshua Stueve said. “The Justice Management Division will conduct a similar review every six months. The next Statement of Expenditures will be released after March 31, 2018.”

According to DOJ the numbers are on par with a budget previously approved by Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein in May, when the Special Counsel was appointed.

“In the year ahead, the Department will continue to dedicate and leverage resources to maintain strong program and financial management controls.  Management takes its program and financial accountability seriously and is dedicated to ensuring that funds are used in a responsible and transparent manner,” the report states.

  1. If this so called investigation of Trump turns to caca we should demand that our taxpayer dollars be reimbursed by the likes of CNN, The DNC or any media, news outlets or persons found stirring up this mess should be held accountable and made to pay.
