Look out, ladies. A Democratic candidate for Congress in North Carolina wants you to swipe right on his campaign to unseat an incumbent.
Patrick Register, 37, is using Tinder, the online dating app known for facilitating promiscuous hookups, to reach out to voters ahead of the May 8 primary election. He and three other Democrats are running to replace Rep. Alma Adams, D-N.C. Tinder is the online dating app known for promiscuous hook Register, a driver for Postmates and Uber Eats, says his Tinder strategy is “probably the greatest thing that I’ve done on this campaign in terms of the volume [of] people that I can have a personal conversation with.”
His Tinder bio encourages voters to reach out to him with their concerns.
Register, who is divorced, says this Tinder account is totally not a way to meet lots of women ahead of a primary election he’s probably going to lose, given his anemic fundraising and Rep. Adams’ $209,000 war chest.
