n March, D.C. Councilman Trayon White Sr. was captured filming a tirade about the weather in which he uttered anti-Semitic remarks: “Man, it just started snowing out of nowhere this morning, man. Y’all better pay attention to this climate control, man, this climate manipulation. And D.C. keep talking about, ‘We a resilient city.’ And that’s a model based off the Rothschilds controlling the climate to create natural disasters they can pay for to own the cities, man. Be careful.”
It’s an obvious reference to Jewish people, and this isn’t his first timehe’s been controversial on social media. White has since apologized, but this train wreck isn’t over. He recently visited the Holocaust Museum in D.C. with his staff—and left early for an event in Ward 8, which he represents on the city council. Yet, The Washington Postsaid he was standing on the sidewalk near the museum. He refused to answer where he went, if he left at all, or why he left the tour. Overall, the ignorance exhibited by White and his staff is embarrassing, with some members asking if the Nazi ghettos were akin to “gated communities” (via WaPo):
White, who drew widespread criticism last month when he asserted that wealthy Jewscontrol the weather, on Wednesday made a visit to the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum. With him was Rabbi Batya Glazer of the Jewish Community Relations Council of Greater Washington, a group that has been heavily involved in the first-term Democratic lawmaker’s public rehabilitation.
The tour, scheduled to last 90 minutes, was halfway done. Seven of White’s staff members stayed with the guide, who soon was showing them an exhibit on the Warsaw Ghetto. As she explained the walling in of Polish Jews, one aide asked whether it was similar to “a gated community.”
